Juan Menchaca

U.S. Army Engineer Captain (retired) with 20 years of military service. Transitioned to renewable energy in 2014, working with SolarCity / Tesla and co-founding Sonovus Energy, where the team installed 35+ MW across 3,000+ residential and commercial projects. Founded Aguasol Energy in 2023 to build the integrated energy + water + compute stack Texas needs for the AI era.

U.S. Army Signal Corps veteran and Tarleton State University graduate. Brings five-plus years of solar industry experience spanning sales, operations, engineering, and permitting. Leads Aguasol's field operations and customer development.

We employ our own electrical engineers, project managers, and field crews. Subcontractors fill specialized scopes (e.g., utility transformer installs), but the core work is in-house.
